As a maternity photographer based in Konstanz on Lake Constance, my goal is to capture the special, fleeting moments of pregnancy in romantic and emotional images. I’m Katrin Schumacher, a mother of two, and my own experience as a parent shapes a patient, sensitive approach that makes expecting parents feel comfortable and seen. Why choose me? I combine heartfelt maternity photography with professional experience. Before the session we have a personal consultation by phone or email to discuss your ideas and plan a relaxed, tailored shoot. The ideal time for maternity portraits is often between the 30th and 36th week, when the belly has a beautiful shape and you typically feel comfortable enough to enjoy the session. My style is natural and romantic: I favor soft light, simple backgrounds and intimate details that highlight your connection and anticipation. Sessions can take place indoors in a calm studio-like environment or outdoors against the scenic backdrop of the Lake Constance region — depending on your preference and the weather. I provide a selection of maternity dresses and accessories so you can arrive without stress and focus on the moment. How I work: The atmosphere during the shoot is relaxed and friendly. With gentle guidance I help you into natural poses that create touching, authentic portraits — even if you’re not used to being photographed. I encourage you to bring meaningful items (a cherished blanket or toy) to include in the images. My aim is to deliver more than pictures: I want to create lasting memories that still move you years from now.
