My cozy home studio in Penzberg is furnished with a selection of belly dresses, wraps and accessories to shape different looks. From experience, the ideal time for a maternity session is around the 32nd week of pregnancy: the belly is usually well-shaped and most expectant mothers still feel comfortable. I recommend booking early so we can plan the perfect date. My photographic approach blends classic portraits with warm, emotional storytelling. I favor natural light, complemented by professional lighting when needed, and choose simple backgrounds so the focus remains on you and your connection to the baby. I welcome personal items — ultrasound pictures, tiny shoes or keepsakes — to add meaning to the images. For couple or family shots, I suggest neutral, timeless outfits (for example jeans and a white top) so the photos remain classic years from now. How we work: Before the session we discuss your ideas, outfits and any props. On the day we take our time to get comfortable, include breaks, and photograph at your pace. My priority is that you and your partner feel calm, secure and well looked after. After the shoot I deliver carefully selected and edited images you can treasure as memories of this special time.
