I’m Melanie from Merian Moments — photography & videography based in Wendelstein. My maternity work is guided by one belief: pregnancy is an intense, tender chapter that deserves images made with respect, warmth and authenticity. Working locally (Wendelstein, Nürnberg, Fürth, Erlangen and nearby), I favour natural light and real locations. The most emotive maternity images often come from late-evening outdoor sessions — golden light, calm atmosphere and the familiarity of a cherished place lend the photos their feeling. In colder months I combine outdoor and indoor shots to keep you comfortable. On request I also use vintage lenses for a distinctive look. Why choose me: I photograph with attention to detail and a sensitivity for small gestures — hands on the belly, loving glances, a quiet smile. As a photographer who also collaborates in a photo & video team, I can offer both stills and moving images from one source, capturing the mood of this phase in different formats. How I work: After your inquiry we discuss location, timing (usually between months 6–8) and the visual style you want. There’s room to talk before the shoot — I guide poses, offer gentle prompts and keep the session relaxed, often as a short walk at a favourite spot so natural moments can unfold. Many clients like to continue with a newborn session later; I love accompanying families from pregnancy into those first days. My photographic path began with my grandfather’s analog lenses; since 2020 I’ve been passionately photographing people and moments.
