I'm Kyra — a mother of two and a maternity photographer who captures the tender, expectant moments of pregnancy with warmth and empathy. Specialising in baby bump photography, as well as newborn and family sessions, my goal is to create images that feel genuine and timeless: the quiet anticipation, loving touches, and that particular glow expecting parents carry. My approach is calm, attentive, and detail-oriented. I favour natural light and outdoor locations that provide soft, beautiful backdrops, but I also guide you gently so portraits feel natural rather than posed. Whether you bring ideas or prefer to be led, I plan each session individually and focus on making you feel comfortable so authentic moments can unfold. Before the shoot we’ll have a short conversation to align on your wishes and create a trusting environment. During the session I offer subtle direction and playful prompts to bring out real emotions and interactions. Afterwards I carefully edit the images to preserve the mood and emotion in every frame. Why I do this: after my own parental leave I chose photography because I wanted to document these fleeting family moments. It brings me joy to see clients reconnect with a moment in time through their photos. Capturing your personal “heart story” is what drives me.
