I’m Janina Umbscheiden, owner of JonahLu Photography and a former early-childhood educator. That background helps me work calmly and sensitively with expecting parents and siblings. My studio in Großseelheim (near Kirchhain/Marburg) is set up like a cozy living space, perfect for natural, boho-inspired maternity portraits. My approach is relaxed and personal: whether you want elegant silhouettes, candid moments with your partner or gentle posed portraits, we’ll plan the shoot to match your style. You’re welcome to use dresses from my client wardrobe so colors and looks harmonize. I provide snacks & drinks, a changing station and a warm environment to make the session comfortable. Studio or homestory? Both offer beautiful results. The studio allows refined lighting and background control; a homestory captures your family in the familiar comfort of home—authentic and intimate. Many clients schedule their maternity session between weeks 28–35; I’m happy to reserve a spot during pregnancy. My work combines creativity, professionalism and heartfelt care. Ongoing workshops and coaching have sharpened my craft, and I aim to deliver images that become treasured family memories.
