As a wedding, portrait and family photographer I focus on natural, emotional images and a personal approach. In addition to these core areas I occasionally photograph pregnancies with sensitive baby bump sessions. The best photos grow from trust and a relaxed atmosphere, so I value an introductory conversation to find the style that suits you. My approach to maternity photography is calm and authentic: whether intimate black-and-white portraits or lively outdoor shots — I design the session so your bump and anticipation are the focus. I often recommend weeks 34–36 for pronounced, flattering belly photos, but the most important thing is that you feel comfortable. I can also accompany you across multiple sessions during pregnancy if you wish. Sessions take place in my studio in the heart of Marburg or on location of your choice. In the studio I provide different backgrounds and subtle props; outdoors I use natural light and surroundings for relaxed, organic images. As a trained portrait photographer I bring technical expertise in lighting and composition and experience in working with people — an advantage that benefits maternity and later baby portraits alike. The process is personal and practical: we start with a brief consultation to discuss wishes, clothing, props and location. During the shoot I create a relaxed atmosphere, guide gentle posing and allow breaks so natural moments appear. Final images are professionally retouched to turn memories into lasting photographs.
