Hej — I’m Franzi, the photographer behind frau beer photography. My primary work focuses on newborn homestories, family sessions and wedding reportage. From that foundation I occasionally photograph maternity sessions — always with the same sensitivity, attention to detail and a preference for natural, honest imagery. Why choose a maternity session with me? Because I understand how tender and fleeting pregnancy can be. As a mobile photographer I work flexibly — at your home in a relaxed atmosphere or outdoors at a favourite location. My aim is to capture mood, closeness and anticipation without forced poses. Your comfort is paramount: I guide gently, allow breaks and make sure the session feels calm and reassuring. My photographic style is quiet, emotive and authentic. Drawing on years of family and newborn experience, I look for the small gestures and soft light that tell your story: a hand on the belly, exchanged smiles, natural silhouettes. Many clients like to combine a maternity session with a later newborn shoot to preserve the whole arc of their family’s beginning. How I work: we have a short chat about locations and outfits, then on the day I create a relaxed setting and accompany you unobtrusively. I favour natural light, gentle tones and moments that feel real rather than staged. After the session you receive a selection of thoughtfully edited images in my approachable style. Note: maternity photography is an occasional, heartfelt addition to my main focus on newborns, families and weddings.
