Foto Seydel – owned and operated by D. Heidrich – is a long-established master photography studio in Essen. My main work focuses on wedding coverage, expressive portraiture and newborn photography. In addition to these core services I also offer maternity (pregnancy) sessions for clients who want to capture this special phase in a sensitive, timeless way. Why choose me: With many years of experience as a studio owner I bring calm, professional guidance to every shoot. I work closely with you in a short consultation to define the mood, clothing and composition so the results match your vision. Sessions take place in my Holsterhausen studio in Essen in a relaxed, private setting — please note that all shoots are by appointment only. What to expect from a maternity session: I aim for natural, emotive images — available in black & white or color, photographed solo or together with a partner and siblings if desired. You’re welcome to bring personal items or small props; I handle posing with tact and create a comfortable environment so you can focus on the moment. After the shoot we choose the best images together and I perform professional retouching where appropriate. Process and options: appointment and pre-shoot discussion, relaxed in-studio session, joint picture selection and careful image editing. If you wish, I can also assist with print options or canvas presentations to make your favorite photos ready for display.
