As a specialist in maternity shoots at Little Big Moments Photography, my heart is particularly dedicated to sensitive maternity photography. I’m Dorothee — I studied photography in the USA and I love capturing the quiet magic of pregnancy in authentic, warm images. My approach combines a portrait sensibility with documentary lightness: real moments, natural gestures and the special presence of expectant parents are always at the center. For every maternity session I aim to create a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Before the shoot I’m happy to have a phone consultation to get to know you, discuss your wishes and advise on location, lighting and outfits. Because I work very much with nature, many of my pregnancy photos are taken outdoors in natural light — but for intimate and protected images my lovingly arranged studio in Rheda-Wiedenbrück is available. There you’ll find calm, props and refreshments so you can feel completely at ease. My working style is gentle and respectful: I guide you softly through poses, pay attention to comfort and safety, and look for the natural connections between you. Whether you want solo portraits, couple shots with the baby bump or quiet, detail-focused images, I concentrate on authentic emotions, mood and the small gestures that become lasting memories. The motto “Little Big Moments” is truly my guiding principle: seemingly small instants become enduring keepsakes. If desired, you can book a stylist for hair and make-up. I also support you with cards or photo prints and recommend reliable partners for high-quality prints or albums. I edit the images carefully so that color, expression and mood remain cohesive and true to the moment. I primarily work in the Rheda-Wiedenbrück area and the Gütersloh district, and I’m also available in Aachen, Maastricht and East Belgium.
