We are Sophie & René from LICHTwerk Fotostudio — known as wedding photographers in Lübeck and specialists in sensitive maternity photography. Our goal is to create timeless, honest images that capture the mood of this unique time. We shoot where you feel most comfortable — mobile, relaxed and with a keen eye for natural, beautiful light. Why choose us for your baby bump session: we bring calm and patience, give you space for intimacy and authenticity, and together we find the motifs that suit you — whether the golden hour at Travemünde or Brodten beach, a familiar garden in Lübeck, the Media Docks' maritime backdrop or your own home. Our images are aesthetic and narrative: we prioritise real moments and the bond between you over staged posing. How we work: before the session we have a short consultation via phone, Skype or FaceTime to discuss wishes, outfits and locations. On the day we come to you or meet at the agreed place. We use available light — preferably the golden hour — and can set up our mobile studio kit when needed to achieve softly lit portraits. Sessions are relaxed and unhurried: plenty of time for laughter, gentle direction and comfortable pauses. Our approach is rooted in intimacy and authenticity: as photographers who document weddings and family life, we appreciate the power of candid images. Pregnancy is a chapter full of anticipation and emotion — we aim to produce baby bump photos that will become treasured keepsakes.
