I’m Alena Schnell, a maternity photographer based in Appen near Hamburg and a mother of two. I specialize in pregnancy photography that focuses on emotion, intimacy and timeless beauty. Whether you prefer Boho, classic studio looks or a Flower Bloom session with fresh flowers, I tailor each shoot to your vision. How I work: Before the session we have a detailed consultation about styling, outfit choices and the mood you want to achieve. You’re welcome to use dresses from my maternity wardrobe and to book professional hair & makeup if you wish. The recommended time for maternity photos is around weeks 30–34 so the belly is nicely rounded while you still feel comfortable. On the day I take my time to guide you through gentle posing, creating natural, flattering images in a relaxed atmosphere. What you can expect: tastefully retouched images, thoughtful composition and photographs that will bring you back to this special time for years to come.
